WORLD CLASS ACADEMICS

CJHS is devoted to excellence in teaching, learning, and developing leaders who make a difference in the world.

  • Boundless Judaism – prioritizing Jewish values in all walks of life
  • Academic Excellence – unparalleled investment in all subjects
  • Students First – education that prioritizes student needs

Students do not need to compromise any aspect of their identity, values, or aspirations to balance Jewish education with secular academic achievement.

WHY CHOOSE Capital Jewish High?

Let’s invest together in the next generation of Jewish Ottawa. Canada is home to the world’s fourth-largest Jewish community. Ottawa is a strategic location as Canada’s capital, but our community here is missing important infrastructure, such as a community high school, which helps facilitate Jewish life.

Whether your child aspires to be a doctor, a business leader, a plumber, a lawyer, a teacher, a scientist, or to devote their life to the study of torah, Capital Jewish High is the place to develop the leadership skills that cultivate success.

Our Mission

To provide a rigorous academic education rooted in Jewish values and traditions, empowering students to become responsible, compassionate, and intellectually curious individuals in a safe environment.

Our Vision

To cultivate a vibrant Jewish community of lifelong learners who are committed to their heritage and contribute positively to society.

Our People

Meet our Board of Governors and our Staff who are committed to fostering a quality educational environment.
